

Bridal creeper rust spray workshop
Watch this space, we will be hosting a 3 day 'walk into our office' workshop in September. Feel free to pop in and see how the rust spray is made and take a bottle home with you! Note! Chemical spray is suggested in the month of June and July as the creeper will be quite healthy at that time.


Greet & Meat followed by 1080 workshop
We will be in Darkan at the West Arthur CRC on the 14th of August 2024 for our Meet & Greet between 11.30 & 1.15 pm. Pop over for a free sausage and a chat with our crew about your declared pests problem. This event will be followed by a 1080 Workshop to be held just down the road at the West Arthur Community Resource Centre. Starting at 1.30 pm, we will be delivering the workshop for landholders interested in undertaking 1080 baiting programmes on their properties to manage


Greet & Meat at the Balingup General Store
Come join us for a FREE toasty sausage sizzle outside the Balingup General Store on the Wednesday 17th of July 2024 , from 11.30 am to 1.30 pm. We will be there to answer all your biosecurity questions including information about our free loan equipment, our onsite visits, professional advice and hands on support. See you there!

Summer weeds Information session

Bridal creeper pop up workshops, 18th-20th September
These informal interactive workshops will be held in our office foyer anytime between 10:00am and 1:00pm Monday 18th, Tuesday 19th OR Wednesday 20th of September. You can pop in at your leisure and learn about biological and chemical controls for this invasive and smothering declared weed - Bridal creeper. You will be able to make your own bridal creeper rust spray and take a bottle home. You can also safely take home a sample of the chemical used to control this pest. No RS


Rylington Park Field Day, Thursday 13th September 2023
Blackwood Biosecurity will be attending the Rylington Park Field Day. We will be ready to answer your declared pest questions, let you know how we can assist you, and show off some our free loan equipment. This event is an informative and fun day packed with guest speakers, a trial walk, stalls, exhibitions, demonstrations and a sundowner.
