New Incursion Declared Pest: house sparrow. 6th December, 2018.

BOYUP BROOK DECLARED PEST BIRD ALERT! A sharp eyed Boyup Brook businessman spotted what is suspected to be a house sparrow yesterday and reported it to Blackwood Biosecurity. The Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) is asking people in the Boyup Brook area to keep an eye out for a suspected male house sparrow, sighted in town. These pest birds, not usually found in WA.
